Rick Bates founded Bates Consulting, Inc. in 1987 after leaving a promising career with a Fortune 500, high-tech, energy sector, global manufacturing firm.  Three separate divisions were developed within the new corporate structure – each dedicated to focused client services.

Home Inspectors, the residential inspection division for buyers and sellers

Bates Consulting for commercial property condition and environmental assessments.
